Judith Curry, climatologist and chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

This new development marks a turning point in the “consensus” of global warming.  Rather than put my own spin on this story I invite you to go directly to Judith Curry’s  web site.  The one time “High Priestess” of global warming has admitted that she was originally duped into parroting the IPCC dogma.  Read her essay for yourself.  More importantly, read the long list of comments at the end of her essay.  It seems the real “consensus” is and has always been the silent, skeptical one.  You go girl!

  1. Bill Ring says:

She makes a valid point that people are now starting to doubt science because climate change has now become politicized. It was always important to document assertions with evidence. Only now it’s more important.

  2. E=MC2 says:

We need more people like her to defect from the global warming camp. At least she was smart enough to wise up to the fact that the science of global warming is more like a religion than it is science.

  3. Kristina says:

I have a friend at Georgia Tech where she teaches and she said that she has a lot of support on campus for her denunciation of the IPCC reports.
